Kundalini Rebirthing as Taught by Yogi Bhajan

"The idea of rebirthing is to release the subconscious, the storehouse of misery.”— Yogi Bhajan

Rebirthing is a way to unleash some old garbage that holds you back, ties you down, overwhelms you, creates anxiety and fear, and gets in the way of your happiness and fulfillment. Rebirthing became popular in the transformational and therapeutic modalities of the late 1970’s and ’80’s. People were looking for a way to heal the deeply held patterns that were burdening them, mind, body, and spirit. Yogi Bhajan realized that the methodology of Kundalini Yoga offered a way to release these patterns in a complete and sustained way. In late 1988 through early 1989, he began offering his own series of Rebirthing Courses, as a way to rediscover one’s own destiny, one’s Authentic Self. Yogi Bhajan’s approach includes the transformational power of the gong to exalt the students in their effort to clear the subconscious mind of past pain, hidden memories, and old emotional patterns that compromise happiness and sabotage success.
