PATTI LENTZ
As a physical therapist and yoga teacher, Patti is passionate about how the body works… and doesn’t. In her private practice, she uses yoga awareness to assist clients in achieving a healthier relationship with their bodies. She uses her broad background in manual therapy, sensory integration, anatomy and emotional trauma work to educate her yoga students to deepen their practice.

Patti has been a physical therapist for over 35 years and a yoga teacher for almost 10. She is a life long learner, and creative in the process of integrating her vast studies as a PT and the wisdom of yoga. She brings together experience in manual therapies, trauma resolution, sensory integration and yoga wisdom in ways that make yoga accessible to everyone... no matter the challenge. In her private practice as a physical therapist, Patti utilizes a depth of understanding and curiosity to assist her clients become more empowered in their bodies. As a yoga teacher, she assists students in becoming more creative and curious in personalizing their yoga practice. She also teaches yoga teachers to be more skillful when working with students with challenges.

HEATHER LEE FARRELL
I’m an integrative healthcare practitioner with training in Functional Medicine, Oriental Medicine, nutrition, Health and Mindset coaching, Nutrition Therapy and other wellness modalities. I can guide you in breathwork, yoga, meditation, deep relaxation, and movement. I’m a certified Forest & Nature Therapy (Forest Bathing) Guide. In addition, I offer guided wilderness excursions (backpacking) and Get Wild with Nature Meditation Retreats!

NIKI FELDMAN
Niki earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology (the study of Human Movement) in 1991 from the University of Colorado. She has always loved movement, music and the outdoors. Her hobbies include dancing, hiking, skiing, and yoga. Niki has been a Massage Therapist since 1995 and a Yoga Instructor since 1997. From 1995- 2002 Niki taught massage and yoga at Crystal Mountain Massage School. Massage styles that Niki uses include Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Esalen style, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Polarity. Since 2010 Niki has been practicing massage and teaching Yoga at High Desert Yoga. She also utilizes three different brands of high quality Essential Oils for powerful Aromatherapy assistance in all her treatments. Niki has a husband and 2 sons that she plays with and several girlfriends who she dances and socializes with.

Bodywork Therapist and Registered Nurse
APRIL RIVERA
April received her massage therapy education at Southwest Health Career Institute in Albuquerque, NM in 2006 and her Neuromuscular Therapy education during a year long mentorship at Spine & Muscle Rehabilitation in 2007. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2014, giving her a deeper insight when creating treatment plans for clients undergoing or healing from medical treatments or illnesses. She is currently studying Alexander Technique at The Alexander Technique Center of Albuquerque and Visceral Manipulation with The Barral Institute. Her bodywork is a unique blend of techniques including Neuromuscular Therapy, Fascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, and Thai Stretching. An ICES device, which is a cross between electromagnetic frequency and electrical stimulation is used during treatments when appropriate. This device is scientifically proven to decrease inflammation and as a result pain, allowing the body to heal itself. She supports her clients post-treatment with Kinesio Taping and client education about better use through body awareness.
April created Your Balance to provide clients with custom treatments aimed at releasing tension patterns to alleviate pain, dysfunction and poor posture, while promoting healthy mobility and increasing the structural integrity of the whole body.

HERB MCDONALD
Herb has had a lifelong fascination with the human body and mind: how they work, ways of enhancing performance, and maximizing a creative and enjoyable human experience! For over 30 years, he has been self-employed as a yoga teacher and clinical herbalist. Over the past decade, his interests have included an emphasis on the relationship between consciousness and the body and health. Herb has recently completed a Masters Degree in Processwork Facilitation.

LISA SENN
Lisa has been practicing massage therapy since 1994. She began her education with a workshop at the Care Through Touch Institute in San Francisco called “The Art of Anointing.”.This experience which emphasized the deep honoring of the human body has stayed with her practice throughout her career. Although Swedish/Esalen is the base of her work, Lisa has studied and grown to incorporate many modalities including: Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage and Reiki. She loves the creative process of massage; listening intently to what the body needs in the moment and responding with the appropriate movement or touch. As a dedicated yoga and insight meditation practitioner, Lisa strives to remain balanced, strong, and grounded in her practice. This, in turn, allows her clients to feel safe, nurtured and restored.
Lisa has earned her License to practice Massage Therapy in New Mexico (lic #9311) and California, a BFA in Graphic Design, and 200-hour yoga teacher certification.
