Yoga is a powerful component of your health maintenance "tool kit" to build resilience against seasonal flus. Summer is a great time to prepare for the flu season. In this workshop we will practice deeply relaxing poses to increase resistance and stamina while calming the nervous system and deepening breath capacity.
Props: Please have a chair, sticky mat, yoga strap, 4-5 firm blankets, and a yoga bolster (or 2–3 additional blankets).
Zoreh Afsarzadeh, founder and director of High Desert Yoga, has been teaching yoga since1985. She has deeply studied methodologies including Iyengar, Phoenix Rising YogaTherapy, meditation, and the American Yoga College.
