About The Event
In this class Hannah guides meditative and breath awareness practices (pranayama) to educate the conscious regulation of the nervous system. Restorative (fully supported) asanas are used to create comfortable exploration of breath exercises. Students can begin to learn the signs of sympathetic dominance of the nervous system and how to self regulate the nervous system to parasympathetic (rest and calm).
began studying yoga and wellness in her early teens, completing her first 200 hour yoga teacher training at age 19. She has since completed a second 200 hour and a 300 hour yoga teacher training at High Desert Yoga, as well as certification through Sundara Yoga Therapy in trauma-informed yoga. These practices, along with study of holistic medicine and natural healing, have helped Hannah manage her own health challenges and have provided insight about her early experience of living with a parent with multiple autoimmune diseases.
