About The Event
Many of us have lower back, shoulder, or neck issues that limit our ability to do backbends and twists. Through this safe approach, Elise will guide you through a series of backbends and twists that, in combination, will bring openness to your body, joy to your heart, and enthusiasm to continue this practice for a lifetime. The class will conclude with more restorative poses and pranayama (breathing techniques) to create balance in body, mind and spirit. All levels are welcome.
Props you will need:
a yoga mat
two blocks (or books or low stool)
two 8 or 10 foot straps (or 1 8 or 10' yoga strap and any size long scarf, rope or belt)
three blankets or beach towels
