About The Event
Anahata, ‘the unstruck sound,’ refers to the psycho-spiritual energy center corresponding to the physical heart. Samyama describes the trifecta of the upper three limbs outlined in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. It is the simultaneous practice/experience of dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (divine union). We can explore samyama within our asana practice. Join yoga teacher Avery Kalapa for an afternoon of inner connection, courageous alignment, and expansive opening, through asana (yoga poses) as well as working with the breath. Appropriate for all levels.
