About The Event
Join Zoreh for a deeply relaxing, passive practice where the body is fully and comfortably supported with props. Each pose is typically held for five to ten minutes so that accumulated stress and tension is gently released. Guided relaxation and breath awareness assist release, so vital organs are deeply nourished and the nervous system can return to equilibrium, facilitating the body's relaxation and self-healing processes and bringing peace and serenity to the mind.
This class will have a specific focus on a different area of the body each week:
- August 18 – Lower back and pelvis
- August 25 – Upper back, shoulders and neck
- September 1– Legs, feet and knees
- September 8 – Digestive systemÂ
- September 15– Respiratory system, heart and lungsÂ
- September 22– Immune system
Recommended props:
- 4 or more yoga blankets (or other firm blankets or towels)
- Yoga bolster (or additional blankets, a couch cushion or firm pillows)
- 1–2 yoga blocks (or several thick books)
- Yoga belt
