About The Event
When beginning an asana practice, it is common that the dominant awareness is of muscles as being tight or weak. With practice we begin to experience that the muscles are there more to organize the bones and the greater structural strength is from the bones. Then we begin to feel that the muscles and bones are there to provide a container for the organs. Then the organs and breath become the primary references as to how to perform the asana. After the muscles, bones organs and breath become more integrated, we can start to attune to subtle lines of force that connect the mind body complex. This class series will explore how asana practice can evolve from the outer body of muscles and bones to the inner body of organs and breath and integrate with the subtle body of nadis and chakras.
Due to the sequetial nature of this series, drop-in is not available.
