About The Event
Have you ever wanted to deeply explore the breath, and how healthy breath can bring about clear, calm, stable, meditative awareness? Pranayama is the rhythmic control and liberation of the breath. The breath is the most essential aspect of our biological existence, our main source of prana (vital energy), the glue which binds spirit and matter. The practice of pranayama can have profound benefits for body and mind, but sometimes it's hard to know where to begin. For practitioners of yoga asana, establishing a regular Pranayama practice is deeply rewarding, illuminative, and vitalizing.
In this 3 hour workshop create a foundation for your exploration of this incredibly magical practice. Learn to map and release tension that restricts your breath, strengthen your ability to focus and breath well, and learn a simple plan for home practice involving comfortable, supported positions.
