AJoin Supriti for an early morning yoga practice to gently wake up the body and mind. This class weaves together awareness, breath, movement, asana and a piece of inspirational poetry to set a positive tone for your day. 

 

Supriti is a lifelong devotee of Yoga and has been teaching for almost 50 years. In 1979 she travelled to Pune, India and took public classes with the Iyengar family at the their famed Institute. Then in 1984 she attended the First International Iyengar Convention in San Francisco, studying with Senior Instructors and the Master himself. She continues to study mainly in this tradition. Supriti worked as a licensed Massage Therapist for over 20 yrs and brings her knowledge of anatomy to her teaching. She shares her love of poetry and wisdom teachings in daily readings to her students and teaches with great humor and infectious joy. She is certified with the Yoga Alliance as a E-RYT500 and still considers herself a humble and grateful student of the inexhaustible Path of Yoga.

This class will take place on Zoom. Register for the class at least 30 minutes beforehand. You will receive the Zoom link in a confirmation email at the end of the registration process and again in a reminder email one day before the class.
