A strong immune system in a strong pandemic is a strong defense. Your connection or disconnection from the natural rhythms of nature determine your wellness and resilience in life. You can regain balance and build immunity through lifestyle, particularly dietary and daily routines that re-align you with your own healthy nature or dosha.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Key Ayurvedic habits that promote immunity
  • Herbal and cleansing techniques that you can start practicing at home immediately
  • How to reduce anxiety using Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a holistic healing system rooted in India. It has become increasingly popular in the west thanks to the amazing results that people have experienced. Ayurveda means “the knowledge of life” and it recognizes one fundamental truth: the closer a person is to nature, the closer they are to good health; conversely, the further one wonders away from nature, the more their health suffers. The individual and nature are intertwined. Ayurveda recommends that we align our inner nature (our Self) with our outer nature (the environment), living in harmony with circadian rhythms and nourishing ourselves with locally sourced, fresh foods. Ayurveda teaches us a lifestyle that avoids disease (when practiced in the long term) and optimizes health and well-being. We are self-healing creatures and we can maintain and regain health by making healthy lifestyle choices.

Jill Palmer is an Ayurveda Wellness Counselor and E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor.  She practices Ayurveda online and began teaching with High Desert Yoga in 2010. Her training and experience in Ayurveda and Yoga have taken place in both India and New Mexico since 2001. She enjoys sharing these invaluable ancient and effective tools in a down to earth and relatable way for healing, balance and contentment as a lifestyle.
