Healing Yoga and Sound Bath

A Sound Bath begins with Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Then we move into an hour-long deeply restorative sound bath with three beautiful symphonic gongs, crystal alchemy singing bowls, a pandrum, a didgeridoo, Tibetan bowls and a water bottle. This creates a reinforced vibration that affects the entire body, releasing stress, balancing the nervous system, and bringing the mind to total calm. The sound vibration aligns meridians in the body to open to healing. Come discover the healing power behind sound!

Deva Khalsa is a 27-year veteran of playing the gong and teaching Kundalini Yoga. She is also an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner and Cleansing Facilitator. Deva has been teaching yoga weekly at High Desert Yoga for 3 years; you can experience the gong in all of her classes.

Sangeet Bani (Lesley Toser) fell in love with yoga as a child and has been blessed since then by the magical and therapeutic gifts of yoga. She has been teaching Hatha and therapeutic yoga for over 20 years and completed the Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training last year. Sangeet is passionate about the healing power of sound for transformation and deep relaxation. She is a Physical Therapist in her day job and teaches yoga at NM Sports and Wellness.

Jesse Kalapa comes from a family of drummers and musicians and has been drumming since he was 13 years old. Jesse loves to sing to Ganesh because he is a big happy elephant and Ganesh helps to break through obstacles in life. He appreciates the peace and joy that comes from chanting, drumming and wholistic living.
