Since 1996 High Desert Yoga has been offering and expanding our Teacher Training Program. The High Desert yoga teacher training is inspiring, transformational and one of the most comprehensive yoga teacher trainings in the country. We offer an integrated curriculum that is taught by teachers who have been teaching and studying for many decades. Our program not only offers high quality didactic education but also experiential sessions and highly structured student teaching. In our training we include advanced, therapeutic training in many specialty areas in order to deepen and diversify your education. High Desert Yoga also offers several specialty trainings in different aspects of yoga annually taught by advanced teachers.

200 and 500 RYT with the Yoga Alliance

High Desert Yoga’s Teacher Training programs are registered with the Yoga Alliance. The Yoga Alliance’s 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) is currently the most widely honored registration for teaching yoga in the United States. Students who have completed both a 200 and a 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification program will be eligible for registry with the Yoga Alliance. High Desert will assist graduates in applying for the status.
